Ohhhhh what a wonderful story to wake up to....

In 1941 I dance with a beautiful blonde, a wonderful woman. But first I want to dance with you."

Goes straight to memories.

You, my dear, are incredibly gifted!

Very cool side of things. Makes me all the more curious about the old Jack and how he came to be the one we know now.

Time travel makes my head hurt. But I love Ianto meeting the old Jack and jumping him and feeding him drugged coffee (and now we know how Jack came to love coffee) and making Jack rescue Rose. Jack being jealous of himself is just adorable, and the end...*melts.*

And of COURSE Jack put a tracker in Ianto's ring. I just wonder what Ianto put in Jack's.

Ianto muse did feel a little like it was cheating on Jack, but Jack is irresistible no matter what time you pick him up. And it was a little hard trying to do the subliminal messaging because they never explicitly say in the show how the program in specific memories... I figured it was half-whispers from the rational part of the human brain and half-whispers by whomever Retconned them.

Yes, Jack put a tracker into Ianto's ring, because he's paranoid like that. Another trust thing, because Ianto knows about it and trusts Jack not to be obsessive and track him everywhere. Ianto didn't put anything into Jack's ring tho... physically.

This was wonderful! I love stories where Ianto meets Jack before he's immortal. And Jack being jealous of himself...too funny. Loved the ending.

It was sort of an ultimate trust thing with Jack, 'cause he doesn't like that person he used to be and to show an ugly part of himself to Ianto is risking rejection.
