Just checking. Doesn't this mean for this story's purposes Ianto is the Doctor's grandson? Or have I lost track of Doctor regenerations again? And if I'm right, how would Jack take that? Worse yet, how would the Doctor take it?

This one almost demands a sequel. Almost. I'm not making a demand. Just curious....

For this story, Ianto would be the Doctor's great-grandson. Susan was his granddaughter.

How Jack would take it: "I'm working the way through the family!"

Time Lord!Ianto muse is telling me that for this story, he doesn't know that he's related to the Doctor, but it would be a blast to have our favorite Time Lord stumbling in and spilling the family secrets, wouldn't it?

This is just fabulous. Why not take the vessel too? *melts* Quite possibly the hottest thing in the history of things.
The sequel potential is too good to pass up. No, really, it is. Donna and Time Lord!Ianto? And Donna with JACK? Oooooh, and you could have the scene with Gwen going "but Ianto? He's so ordinary, how could he be a Time Lord?" and making cow eyes at the Doctor and Jack and let Donna do the smack-down. You know you want to. *shoos bunnies your direction*
