I have to admit I was a bit confused by the whole antidote conversation - but it's probably just me as it's late LOL. This whole chapter was brilliant though. I felt kind of like Ianto...sick and scared about the whole thing. Harold just gives me shivers! Really well done! I cannot wait for more of this!!!

*grins* Jack and Ianto really did poison Harold's food -- and since Ianto drank the wine, he needs to take the antidote. It was just insurance in case Rose and/or the Doctor had a last-moment change of heart.

Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it.

I went back and reread a bit...I get it now...chalk it up to being late and being rushed *facepalm* Poor Ianto.

So cannot wait for the next one!

*laughs* It's all right, things get misread all the time.

Oh this was difficult and brilliant at the same time. Brave Ianto poisoning himself to make sure Saxon dies (and brave Jack letting him). I'm actually glad the Doctor and Rose went through with it so the Doctor wouldn't know what they had done. I'm not sure he would have reacted well.

I cannot wait for more of this. What a lovely way to end my bday!

*laughs* Me too, but Jack and Ianto realize that Harold *had to die*. And if Rose and the Doctor couldn't do it, then Ianto and Jack would take the fall for it.

I'd also like to add that "slow acting" meant "it took a while to kick in". It would have been a relatively painless death.

I'm glad I could give you a good end of the day! (and this means that it'll be a while until everyone gets another chapter. *laughs*)

As relieved as I am to see Harold gone (though I have a feeling he had plans in motion for after his death), the details and descriptions left me feeling like Ianto, wanting to hide my head.

Very well done. :)

I felt like Ianto, sick and scared about the whole thing. Harold was creepy. Both Ianto and Jack were so brave, poisoning Harold and ready to take the fall if the execution didn't happen. Brilliant chapter, it was so detailed that I felt like I was right there with them.
