matthew, kirby, ella, etc.
matthew dane blair was born last night. 7 1bs, 19.5 in. darrin says he should be discharged this afternoon.. that's so fast! he'll be discharged to chelsea, his birthmother and then she'll hand him over to them. she can't sign the papers until 48 hours after his birth.. about 7PM tomorrow night. i'm so excited for them. should be interesting/funny to see how shannon does with all the "new baby" changes.
so, i've always wanted a kirby. rachel had one.. didn't mind vacuuming her house at all. doorbell rings around 8:45 last night. we don't usually have visitors so we were like wtf?! 2 hours, lots of dirt, dust, hair, dust mites $ a little money later .. we're now the proud owners of a kirby sentria. and i can't wait to get home this afternoon and vacuum :)
karen & ella stopped by last night. ella loved shae's new cell phone toy. it's a flip phone that talks to you.. if you hang it up, it will wait a few seconds and then ring. every time, ella would say, "oh, phone!" pick it up and say hello.. chatter a second.. hang it up... then take a half step back and kind of watch it... it would ring again.. she'd get excited and say, "oh, phone!" so so funny!
on tap this weekend: staining the fence, baby shower in lake jackson, meeting matthew, grandpa's birthday dinner at cedar landing, L word premier.
