RIP Louis George Auger
My Daddy told me today that my great uncle passed away on Friday at the age of 90. The funeral is on Thursday in Maryland. Uncle Babe (that's what we all called him) was always larger than life to me. I remember being a child and thinking he was a giant, as he was so tall. His late wife, Cecile, was a nurse and an influence on my decision to get into a medical field. She was so inspirational to me....and LOUD!
I'm sorry I lost touch with them when they moved to Maryland. I'm glad my father would visit, especially after my mother passed away, and that he always told me how they were doing.
