Merry Christmas everybody! Jon and I have been on the phone all morning calling our families, but we managed to open our gifts.
I got some garlic stuffed olives, goat cheese and black pepper biscuits, chocolates, French word-a-day calendar, a pretty vanilla diffuser, and a Spanish cookbook. Our joint gifts were a Wii (a couple of weeks ago we bought one for ourselves) and we got several Wii games and an extra Guitar Hero guitar from friends & family .
After our phone calls are done, I'm going to go to the kitchen and heat up the tamales that my mom sent home with us.
