February Multi-Fandom Recs
Started dipping my toes back into reading fanfic this past month. Still not reading much HP at all, but I've managed to work through several fics that I've had marked for future reading. I've actually mostly been reading a lot of Star Trek fic (I'll post those recs in the next few days) but here are some of the other fics I read and enjoyed in February.
Title: new year's resolution - to kiss you like I mean it

Summary: Gelz says she's quitting smoking for New Year's, wants him to do it too, but she says that every year so Nick figures he won't try it unless she can manage first. Besides, quitting Harry Styles is going to be enough quitting for the year, maybe for next year too. Nick hasn't mentioned that resolution to anyone, though, knows how it will sound through the fog of their concern.
Really wonderful fic with a fabulously characterized Nick. I really loved the relationship the author captured between Harry and Nick here, and the whole thing was immensely satisfying.

Wonderful fic that chronicles glimpses of Harry and Nick's relationship over the years. The characterizations were fantastic here and the way their relationship built was just amazing. Lovely, lovely read!

He’s not handling it as well as he’d like.
This fic is AMAZING. Everything I ever wanted from a post season 2 fic and more! Beautiful Alec (and all the characters, really) and it made me feel ALL THE FEELINGS. Absolutely recommend all fans of the pairing give this one a read ASAP.

He makes it through most days without too much trouble. Then, a certain werewolf comes back into town. Which Stiles doesn't care about, nope, not at all.
After two and a half years, Derek returns to Beacon Hills with his small Pack. Though he tried to move on, something just kept drawing him back to Beacon Hills, he's just not sure what. Now, he figures he can start building something like a life - but he keeps getting distracted by Stiles Stilinski of all people.
Really fantastic post-season 4 fix-it fic that incorporates some characters of later seasons. I loved Stiles and Derek here, and the way their relationship evolved was just fantastic. The whole thing was such a wonderful, gripping read and I seriously could not put it down!
