God, how do I even describe this? It is super well-written and so enthralling. It's...not dark exactly, but it definitely goes a bit into the psychological realities/consequences that would go with being stranded on an island, and it handles them so well! I love Sherlock's characterization in this and his relationship with John. The sex is hot and desperate and sweet, and the ending is wonderful.

This goes in the cacon-Au section because even though it is an apocalypse AU, it takes place in the future after canon. Such an interesting world here and it feels so realistic! Loved their relationship and the characterizations.

Really fantastic fics with fantastic portrayal of their relationship and the mechanics that would go into it. The first fic primarily deals with the aftermath of the Reichenbach fall, the strain it put on their relationship, and how thy could move past it and form a closer bond. The second fic takes place immediately afterwards, and has them dealing with this new relationship. A very believable approach to relationships and beautifully written.

This fic was fabulous. Well-written as always with brilliant characterizations, I am always so impressed with how beautifully this author manages to capture both Sherlock and John with her alternating POVs. This is definitely a bit angstier than some of her other fics, dealing not only with the post-Reichenbach emotional fallout, but also with some slightly graphic kidnapping/tortury scenes. But yay for happy endings, believable resolution, and a porny epilogue!

The writing is gorgeous, the sex is insanely hot, and the ending is immensely satisfying.

But, like everybody had assured me, it was brilliant. This is quite *my* Sherlock and John, but I loved them nonetheless. I adored the relationship between Sherlock and John here, the love and trust, and fear and uncertainty of the other's feelings. The sex scenes were smoking hot, but even hotter was how in control of everything Sherlock was. Even though most of the fic is John getting off with other people, Sherlock is an undeniable presence throughout the fic. I thought the ending was great, and very fitting for this Sherlock and John.

This author writes Johnlock so fantastically and she is great at hurt/comfort fics! i was a bit worried that it might be too similar to her fic Electric Pink Hand Grenade that has a somewhat comparable premise, but this fic definitely has it's own unique development and pacing. Both characters are really fantastically captured, especially their feelings towards one another, and the mystery plot is interesting, but not overpowering.

This fic, like every single other fic I have read by this author, is mind-blowingly fantastic. The writing is so gorgeous and evocative, the characterizations are flawless, and the case is intriguing and fascinating. Sherlock is dead sexy, especially in his clubby get-up, and the sexual tension between him and John is palpable. Just a really fantastic fic! :)

Sherlock is maybe a smidgen fanon-y, but he was really wonderful in the fic, and seeing him with his new little family was fabulous.

Super fascinating and well crafted verse that crosses over the Inception and Sherlock fandoms. The world blending is masterfully done, and it all feels very natural and believable. On top of that, we get a wonderfully interesting and creepy premise, and fabulous characterizations. Arthur and Eames are particularly spectacular here. The first fic focuses on Arthur/Eames with some John/Sherlock pre-slash action. The fourth fic focuses on Sherlock/John (with some established Arthur/Eames) and I really loved how the season three events were incorporated. I really recommend reading them in order, as there are definitely a lot of references back to the first fic. There's a super satisfying epilogue fic for Arthur/Eames, and I believe there is a Sherlock/John one coming as well, though the series reads beautifully as is.

Really fantastic fics with fantastic portrayal of their relationship and the mechanics that would go into it. The first fic primarily deals with the aftermath of the Reichenbach fall, the strain it put on their relationship, and how thy could move past it and form a closer bond. The second fic takes place immediately afterwards, and has them dealing with this new relationship. A very believable approach to relationships and beautifully written.

This fic was fabulous. Well-written as always with brilliant characterizations, I am always so impressed with how beautifully this author manages to capture both Sherlock and John with her alternating POVs. This is definitely a bit angstier than some of her other fics, dealing not only with the post-Reichenbach emotional fallout, but also with some slightly graphic kidnapping/tortury scenes. But yay for happy endings, believable resolution, and a porny epilogue!

The writing is gorgeous, the sex is insanely hot, and the ending is immensely satisfying.

But, like everybody had assured me, it was brilliant. This is quite *my* Sherlock and John, but I loved them nonetheless. I adored the relationship between Sherlock and John here, the love and trust, and fear and uncertainty of the other's feelings. The sex scenes were smoking hot, but even hotter was how in control of everything Sherlock was. Even though most of the fic is John getting off with other people, Sherlock is an undeniable presence throughout the fic. I thought the ending was great, and very fitting for this Sherlock and John.

This author writes Johnlock so fantastically and she is great at hurt/comfort fics! i was a bit worried that it might be too similar to her fic Electric Pink Hand Grenade that has a somewhat comparable premise, but this fic definitely has it's own unique development and pacing. Both characters are really fantastically captured, especially their feelings towards one another, and the mystery plot is interesting, but not overpowering.

Sherlock is dead sexy, especially in his clubby get-up, and the sexual tension between him and John is palpable. Just a really fantastic fic! :)

Sherlock is maybe a smidgen fanon-y, but he was really wonderful in the fic, and seeing him with his new little family was fabulous.

Super fascinating and well crafted verse that crosses over the Inception and Sherlock fandoms. The world blending is masterfully done, and it all feels very natural and believable. On top of that, we get a wonderfully interesting and creepy premise, and fabulous characterizations. Arthur and Eames are particularly spectacular here. The first fic focuses on Arthur/Eames with some John/Sherlock pre-slash action. The fourth fic focuses on Sherlock/John (with some established Arthur/Eames) and I really loved how the season three events were incorporated. I really recommend reading them in order, as there are definitely a lot of references back to the first fic. There's a super satisfying epilogue fic for Arthur/Eames, and I believe there is a Sherlock/John one coming as well, though the series reads beautifully as is.
