Those are the facts, but they don't tell the whole story. This is a story about family, acceptance and different shades of love. Told through Uhura's, McCoy's, Spock's and Jim's eyes.
This fic is so, so good! Really well written and such an interesting concept. The characterizations of Jim, Spock, and Nyota are fabulous and the author does a really amazing job not vilifying anybody. It's complex, and bittersweet, and sexy, and fantastic!

Ooo, this fic was fabulous! I loved the slight twist on the amnesia trope, with Spock only losing a couple of months, and how that still managed to have such an impact. The characterizations here were wonderful, and I just adored all the pining and the smut and basically everything! Delightful read.

Jim's life is hard.
This is a really fun crossover fic, especially if you are familiar with the book series it's being crossed with. I usually prefer fusions to crossovers, but this one really worked perfectly and was a sexy, fun ride. :D

Really wonderful fic that spans the 5-year mission after the first movie. It's a very non-linear timeline, so we get glimpses of events in Jim's life before, as well, but the focus is very much on his and Spock's relationship and how it grows and evolves. Non-linear doesn't always work for me, but there was something so beautiful and captivating about how it was done here, and all the characters were really fantastically rendered.

I had never seen them in a fic before and, as there was not not about them, I was really confused at first. Makes sense with all of the non-human characters, but just a warning.

And Longclaw is so freaking awesome!! Just such an impressive fic!

The relationship between Kirk and Spock is so beautiful and powerful and the sex scenes were incredible with all the conveyed emotion. Long and satisfying read.

Jim's life is hard.
This is a really fun crossover fic, especially if you are familiar with the book series it's being crossed with. I usually prefer fusions to crossovers, but this one really worked perfectly and was a sexy, fun ride. :D

Non-linear doesn't always work for me, but there was something so beautiful and captivating about how it was done here, and all the characters were really fantastically rendered.

I had never seen them in a fic before and, as there was not not about them, I was really confused at first. Makes sense with all of the non-human characters, but just a warning.

And Longclaw is so freaking awesome!! Just such an impressive fic!

This fic is set in a somewhat darker universe and the world-building and plot is just phenomenal. The relationship between Kirk and Spock is so beautiful and powerful and the sex scenes were incredible with all the conveyed emotion. Long and satisfying read.
