HP Rare Fest 2016 Recs
hprarefest recently posted their 2016 fest reveals, so I thought I'd post a few of my favorites! This fest has always been a favorite of mine, because there truly is so much variety of pairing and genre. I only picked a couple to rec, but if you are interested in rare pairs at all, I highly recommend checking out the masterlist for more wonderful options!

A really lovely and beautiful fic, heartbreaking and poignant, sexy and sweet. I loved the contrast between the three pairings and the very different relationship dynamics between all three.

Super adorable fic with ALL the lovely pining! I really liked how Muggle technology was woven into this fic, making it feel very relatable and modern, without losing those magical touches that make this world so much fun to play in. Scorpius and Albus were too sweet, and I really loved their friendship in this one that evolves into something more.

OMG this fic is AMAZING! Seriously. I adore the a/b/o trope and the author did a seriously fantastic job incorporating so many wonderful werewolf and a/b/o dynamics. The relationship between Teddy and James is beyond fantastic and the sex, and the effect of the heat on them both, all of it was wonderful. There were so many amazing, charming moments, and James's voice felt wonderfully real and believable. It's a tried and true trope, but the author twists and modifies bits and pieces just slightly enough to make it feel engaging and fresh and new. LOVE!
