HD Smoochfest 2015 Recs
Reveals went up yesterday for hd-smoochfest so I figured it was time for me to round up some of my favorites from the fest! This year's songspiration theme was super interesting and produced a really wide variety of fics. These are some of the submissions I loved best, but there is a whole host of other goodies to check out on their masterlist.

Title: All My Hours

Summary: Dragged to a Ministry ball by Hermione, Harry had thought things couldn't get any worse. Then he spotted Draco twirling Astoria Greengrass around the dance floor, and he knew how wrong he was.
Gorgeously written fic dealing with Draco and Harry's recent break-up. This fic gave me a lot of feels and seeing all of Harry's friends rally around to give him the kick in the pants he needed to go and get Draco back was really wonderful.

Summary: I can’t help but wonder if Potter’s really as fine as he claims to be. There’s something strange about seeing the vanilla hero of the wizarding world eye-fucking someone across a crowded bar before slipping off into the shadows - Draco Malfoy escapes to the Muggle world to avoid his parents, memories of the war and Harry Potter. However, some things prove harder to escape than others as Draco realises when his favourite Muggle haunt is rudely invaded by a post-war Harry who is struggling to cope with grief, growing up and the battle with his inner demons.
Wonderful fic that takes the club!fic trope, but it gives it so much edge and complexity. Watching Harry and Draco cope with the war in different slightly destructive ways, and seeing how that brings them together was really wonderful, and I really enjoyed watching the whole thing evolve. Plus it was hot as hell. :D

Summary: Harry cursed the day he’d ever made the stupid bet with Ron because that bet was what had led to him being naked in front of a Muggle art class. Of course Draco Malfoy had to be taking the class, because that’s just how Harry’s life worked.
Oh this such a fun and charming read! The author does such a wonderful job of selling the plot and Draco here is just drop dead sexy. Harry's POV was delightful and I adored the dynamic between them here.

Really lovely fic that takes place immediately at the war with the rebuilding of Hogwarts. I loved Draco's POV here, and the author did a fabulous job showing Draco's past and painting a picture of the environment Draco grew up in. The development of Draco and Harry's relationship was lovely, and the sex was hot and sweet.

But being near Potter holds questions too-ones Draco isn’t sure he wants to ask. Even if it means turning down a way back to solid ground.
I love werewolf!Draco fics and this fic is the perfect example of why. The writing here is gorgeous and the way the werewolf transformation is described with Draco's enhanced smelling ability and his new urges is just fantastic. I adored getting inside Draco's head here, and watching him come to terms with his condition, and his relationship not only with Harry, but with the fabulous side cast of character was marvelous. Plus the sex was unbelievably hot.
