Advent Fics
In addition to all of the lovely holiday fests, there were also several advent fics I read throughout December. Some authors created an overarching story with a chapter posting each day. Some authors posted an unrelated holiday fic every day. And some collaborated with multiple artists and authors to create beautiful illustrated stories. Below are a few of the advent fics I enjoyed during the holiday season! :)
Title: The Liar and the Mediwizard

Summary: Harry and Draco run into each other in Diagon Alley the year after they leave Hogwarts. They make a truce for one hour.
This was written for me as one of the author's advent fics, which was terribly exciting because lomonaaeren is the first fanfic author I ever read and is basically the reason I became obsessed...Anyways, this fic was great! I loved the chance meeting and the 1 hour truce that Draco was timing. Draco's loneliness was so heartbreaking, especially his parents leaving him behind, and deciding on a pet for his gift was wonderful. And his choice in the cheetah! It is beautiful and perfect for Draco and it was nice seeing Draco have a purpose in caring for it. SO, so glad that he didn't just let Harry walk away at the end of the hour! Such a lovely, hopeful ending!

Loved the more realistic approach to handling a divorce/newer relationship when kids are involved. And the ending was hot and so sweet!

Slightly less fluffy than most advent fics, but not too angsty! Draco and Harry are busy with work and haven't really made their relationship a priority. Draco wants them to be remember why they work well together and fell in love, so he come up with an advent calendar of sorts to help Harry remember. This was touching, and sweet, and realistic, and sexy.

If you've read Turn (and if you haven't, go read it now!) this fic is especially fun! It is set in the glimpse!verse and details how Harry and Draco get together. It's lovely and sweet and so much fun! The side characters are great and it is lovely seeing all of these background details from the turn!verse get a little bit of back-story!

(Despite half of them not being ordinary at all.) Christmas is coming, and the news of a winter school dance at the end of the semester leaves Isaac terrified and Stiles unbelievably dateless.
It’s funny how both their problems are solved by the same person.
This is such a wonderful holiday fic that takes place after the events of 3A. Loved the development of the relationship and their connection was so well-written!
