Fic: Now It’s Your Choice (Draco/Albus Severus, NC-17)
The reveals have gone up at mini-fest, so I can now claim the little fic I wrote for it.

Summary: Albus has to stay at Hogwarts over Christmas for some extra Potions lessons. Professor Malfoy gives him a helping hand.
Notes: This was my first time writing this pairing and I had a hell of a time getting the dynamic between these two where I wanted it. Not sure I quite managed it, but I hope you all like it! All the thanks to the wonderful capitu and dicta-contrion who helped get this on-track; you guys are awesome. <3

This one was a bit of a struggle for me, and I'm still not 100% in love with how it turned out. This is still the longest thing I've written and the only thing I've written with dual POV; not sure if that added to the challenge or actually made things easier than they would have been?
I wanted to write something dub-con with a more dickish Draco, but I was having the hardest time getting that balance right. At first I thought it was way too nice, so I made things more "dubious" before sending it to my beta, who told me that I might have gone a bit too far into non-con territory, which wasn't what I was shooting for. So I dialed it back, and while I'm much happier with the final result, I still don't think I quite nailed it. Plus, all the edits meant that a few typos slipped through the cracks, which drove me a bit mad when I caught a few days ago...
I do love this pairing though, and I think I'd like to come back to them at some point. I have a plot bunny for a longish fic that I wrote the first half chapter of, but I think it'll take the back burner while I work some other stuff.
