H/D Career Fair 2014 Recs
hd_fan_fair is one of my absolute favorite fests, because the rotating themes really allow for a ton of creativity and there is always a lot of really interesting and unique fic/art! This year's Career fair was no different and man, it was a busy October trying to keep up with all of the awesome fic and art! It was a bit of a struggle trying to pick my favorites, so I definitely suggest checking out this year's masterlist and perusing all of Harry and Draco's super clever careers! :D

Oh wow, this is so fantastic! Such a powerful story and I loved the twist on the fairy tale trope. I thought Draco as a writer and Harry as an illustrator was very believable and I really liked Harry's idea to get them working together. The pacing was so wonderful here, with the fic moving from the familiar and getting darker as they progress in their fairy tale world. And I adored Harry and Draco's relationship and how they interacted with each other and how that changed over the course of them working together and being stuck together. The accompanying fairy tale is wonderful and actually answers a few questions raised in the ending of the original fic. And the art is gorgeous!
