seasons greetings two-oh-oh-nine
a very very memorable christmas eve countdown to christmas 2009.
i thought the slumber party was really great and we did the whole pyjamas + cookies&milk
+ champagne popping thang + christmas movie thang
was cool and i loved it. house parties are the 'in' thing.
prior to that was:
- Ee zhang's birthday celebration on the 21st Dec at Paramount Hotel. Rive Gauche cake definitely recieved rave reviews! worth every single penny of what's worth.
- Dad's mini 52nd birthday celebration on the 22nd Dec at Grams Place. Just nice we were celebrating the winter season as well so loads and loads of goooood foood. Bought daddykins a black forest cake from Jack's Place. I guess I can't help but compare the quality of chocolate from Rive Gauche and Jack's Place.
- Laura's 20th birthday (thanks for the invite!) at Ion Orchard Swensens (damn difficult to locate!) Had a late lunch prior to that so was feeling too full for any main course. Had an all-time favourite Coit Tower though and they have ice cream buffet there!
- Mahjong at Jo's after the birthday dinner
- grandma's 80th birthday at Chinese Swimming Complex on 31st December. whole clan will be there!
- my 21st birthday on 2nd Jan. Preparations are mostly done - just the decor to consider which i'm leaving most of it to Qingyun. The weather is horrid these few days! I'm praying for good weather. I need the good weather! Daddykins was sucha spoiler - he asked me to prepare contingency plan. o.o
- zheyang's 21st birthday. on the same day as me! he's making the extra effort to come to mine before rushing back home to prepare for his (sweet zy! thank you!) i hope i'll make it in time for his cake cutting at the very least.
- jean's 21st birthday on 3rd Jan! so poor thing - she had to shift her date from 2nd to 3rd just to accommodate zy's and my birthday celebrations! thanks a lot jean!
- hsiang ying is turning 21 on 6th Jan! i wonder if we are meeting up with the girls.
- li han is turning 22nd on 8th Jan! i wonder if we are meeting up with the girls.
- zhuan kai's birthday on 9th Jan! theme is socialite - what the hell. supposed to dress up as some celebrity and its at Changi Golf Club! super Atas! dress code is BLACK TIE leh. -faints. by far the hardest 21st birthday party. and he got a personal party planner. ROFL. it's really awesome i foresee.
