I think I know why I'm so enthusiastic with this blogging thing suddenly. It's because my mind has subconsciously realised that when I reach shanghai I probably will blog less since there's the bloody proxy and lousy internet speeds to content with, HENCE it has made me want to blog more now. Compensation? maybe. Anyway, here's another update on my exciting and fattening stay in Singapore this winter (:
* Laoda (biao ge) reached shanghai and I've been told it's 10 degrees there WHOO HOOOO!!!! :D I love my double digit temperatures!!~
Sunday, I went to this uber coolios, yummy, atas and, have I mentioned? - YUMMY place called Wild Honey with Yiming! It's this cool place that serves breakfast all day. Their main menu is filled with breakfast sets from all over the world, ok let the pictures do the talking!
- Location: Mandarin Orchard, #03-02
The first one is what I got - Canadian! ((: The pancakes are TO-DIE-FOR, eat this and it'll be no-go for Macs' ever *rolls eyes - bitchy*! Yiming got Mexican (i think? yiming, is it?). Price wise, not too fabby I would say, a little on the pricey side. (I paid SGD18 for mine, and yiming's was SGD20+) Food wise, very yummy and though it looks like the serving is too pathetic, looks can really be deceiving. I gave one of my three pancakes + bacon to yiming and I was super full after the meal was through. Even yiming commented that the serving was really very filling. Judging by the one hour waiting time to be seated at the plushy sofa seats, the pricing isn't deterring the eaters (:
There are no reservations and i think big groups will find it a hassle to wait for tables to clear, unless if it's like yiming and i who went for the window counter seats. They also serve salads and star-bucksy beverages, definitely worth checking out. :D Thanks yiming for the into! ((:
So that was my sunday~
Monday was NORTH INDIAN food outing day! Met with Shanti and Jiayi at Little India and off we went! Gaggi's Restaurant I think, where I got to eat really yummy NAAN!!!! :D this is going to be my favourite north indian food now! haha, I surprisingly liked the Kashmiri Naan, which has loads of fruitcake-ish ingredients and was sweet without being puke-inducing, considering that I generally don't like fruit cakes (: Eating with our hands was fun too! awww, I wish we had more indian food outing JGGSS!
loved it!
I foresee another crazy day tomorrow with ELAINE TAY at K Lunch~ haha (: time for some mega girl talk again ^^
Ok my mood to blog is going away again, rarrrr wait I shall go do something else before completing this post... (SHANTI, I WAN WATCHING 'CHUCK', i hope I'll meet the Indian Lesbian soon...)
I just finished one episode of CHUCK and not bad! not bad at all (: though it wasn't as funny as shanti had made it sound like, I'm hoping the humour (Indian Lesbian) comes soon =D Will continue~ off for now.
xoxo, G!
