Well, let's see. It's Summer now. Emily is here for her visit. David is working at Domino's as a second job for us to save some money for our move in November to Where-Ever-That-May-Be, Texas. The boys are huge - both are like 5'6 and scary bigger than me. Joshua is absolutely a joy and so much fun these days. I can talk about Josh for hours. I can talk about all my kids for hours. hehe. They are all well-mannered and pretty easy.
Joshua is starting to try out some solids. He was very interested in the beginning and ate bananas, sweet potatos and peaches. I have been making his baby food and it is so super easy that it's crazy to think of buying it. Anyway, he liked everything, but refuses to open his mouth for food now. He is very interested in what I'm eating, though. I'm thinking he may not be much of a baby food eater - he might just want real food in a few months. I don't worry about it because he still nurses on demand and is growing just fine.
Jacob is looking forward to going to camp out in Tyler this Summer for a week or so. He's getting so grown up - it's an "over-night" camp. He's such a good looking kid - and so well mannered. Jacob is a natural giver and would do anything for anybody to make them happy. He's finishing up this season of baseball, so that's been fun. He's catcher again and loving it. I can't believe my baby's gonna be a 6th grader in the Fall.
Cody is doing great. He's also playing baseball and has turned out to be a really good first baseman. This is his second season and he's enjoying this one much more than last season. He'll go visit his Mom the second half of the Summer this year. I am so proud of how much he has grown over the last two years. I'm happy to get to witness it.
Emily is such a little mama to Joshua. She is always right at my elbow with whatever I'm doing for him. She is closer than a shadow and I think it's absolutely wonderful. I'm going to miss her terribly when she's not here for the second half of Summer. When she's not all over Josh, she's outside with the neighborhood girls. They seem to run in a big pack of about 8 girls and play, play, play.
We've only made it to the pool once so far this year and I get asked daily if today will be the day we'll go again.
I am going to have to go to bed.
Here's Josh with Sweet Potatos!
