I had a sonogram of my gall bladder done the other day; yes, it revealed I have gall stones. For months I have had pain on my right side under my ribs on and off throughout the day and especially at night; it's been getting worse and I can't sleep on my right side at all, so I told my doctor and she scheduled me for the GB sonogram. I haven't heard yet what, if anything they want me to do about it.
I'm glad your job is going well. The drive sounds like a good opportunity to get close to God. I'm glad the pressure's off for you to sell the house. God has a way of giving us "Isaacs" to test our willingness to do His will; maybe that's what this trial was all about? Whatever the case, I pray that He will close all the wrong doors and open all the right ones for you and Papa C, and give you all the grace you need to go through them.
Kids are well for the most part. Have had a bit of retraining to do here lately. Seems they forgot some basic stuff from our being out of our routine, on vacation, but we sure had a great time at Id-Ra-Ha-Je. A friend of mine gave me some homeschool materials for the boys today. I'm so grateful because we really broke our budget on this trip. Hubby is restless; aching to be involved in ministry work. He is teaching the adult Sunday School class at our church but he's looking for more fish. Wants to be more evangelistic. Praying the doors will open for him in God's time and for peace until then. Baby is very squirmy. Lots of rolling and kicking going on in there. (She?) likes to do cartwheels when I'm getting settled in bed. Needs some discipline already! Ha! Looking forward to meeting Precious One. Haven't decided firmly on any names yet, but are leaning towards something starting with an "L."
Will continue to pray for S & E, that they will be "bound together with cords that cannot be broken."
