the 17 yr old girl-child goes out, over to some guy's house, who I have not met, but I know where he lives so it's all good.
She texts. "I'll be home at midnight"... fine so far.
then texts again -- why the child cannot call I do NOT know -- "watching a movie can I stay later" which, sure. I know where she is, and what she's doing, so no problem.
then I fall asleep, and the phone wakes me up. "I fell asleep can I just sleep here." --hit the brakes.
You want to sleepover at some guy's house. and get pissy when I say "no"? To top it off, she says "I'll have to walk home if I don't stay." which... no. so not true, we have never left a kid to walk in freezing temps.
THEN once we're home, the front door gets locked annd no one remembered the other teen was still out. ahaa. he's 19, so him staying out all night is a little different, but he wakes me up at 8 am to be let in because of course, he has no key.
and now I am wide awake.
