the music that keeps you going

On Wednesday, before Thanksgiving, we had a really cool time. I didn't have to cook because we were going to a neighbor's house (but I got all the football game-watching snacks), so everything was chill. So to speak. Then somehow the subject of music and Guggenheim Grotto (the artist currently known as Storyman, btw), and my youngest brother announced that he had the concert they did on the front porch. It turned out to be the dvd of the show, and everyone was singing along and dancing and just enjoying themselves. Plus, Sean the editor had managed to keep my request in there, so I got to hear 'One for Sorrow' again. It was just such a spontaneous thing, and really, really nice. Thank you, Kevin and Mick. Miss you.

On Thanksgiving Day I came down with yet another nasty headcold that wants to become bronchitis when it grows up, which is really annoying. So I haven't done the housecleaning stuff I was planning on because I'm trying to kill this bug before it kills me. So instead of sitting here on the laptop, I'm going to go to bed and rest up for tomorrow. Hopefully the 7 boxes of Kleenex I bought will last me through this one...
