Finding a Valentine...
This post was inspired by a book I was looking for in a bookcase, as usual I cannot get by the first two bbooks without reading them..anyway..please post and repost...looking for my Valentine!
I want to find my Valentine! In this case it is or are the Descendants of the original owners of a book I now own. The book is an 1898 copy of of a German Prayer book titled "Det Nye Testament med Psalmer". Inside is a piece of paper which lists the names of the family starting with Otto Fields dob 1843. The family lived in St. Paul, Minnesota. This I know becuse of 3 cables in the back from the railroad telegraph co. There is also a 1x1 photo of 2 young men, the back identifies them as Elef and Thomas Fjield. I tried to find the current day Fields but got mired down in the sheer number of them. Would love, love to help this book find it's way home. Please repost on your wall or let any Fields from Minnesota you know
