It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

My god I swear I must appear to be bi-polar, that is after last weekend's post but in reality last week was a relatively low key one at work plus for the first time in I do not know how long I slept, really slept every night. Soundly, deeply and restfully. This goes a long way in helping one maintain balance and I feel very rested and in control of my life. Anyway, looking forward to a visit from Meg and Baby, picking vast quantities of green and red tomatos for jam, gathering and shucking black walnuts, working on the firewood. Meg and I MAY have shopping planned, she has a new job and needs a new work wardrobe, I told her I'd spring for a secondhand store spree, lol..take it or leave it, so we'll see! After the work is done this weekend then it's playtime on the boat on Lake Michigan...there are probably only 2-3 weekends at the most left depending on Mother Nature's mood. Since it's a 4-day weekend, yay me, I am determined to get some rughooking fun in, be it cutting wools, hooking or maybe some dye fun!!! Did I say how much I love Columbus Day? Have a wonderful weekend all of you out there with nothing better to do than read this, no just kidding!

PS. Patty, know that I am thinking of you and hope you are doing as best as you can.
