So that is how I feel tonight

and will use that icon to get all my angst out tonight before my 9am hearing tomorrow where we decide if the children should be returned and when and how and so on. My clients aged 6, 4,almost 3 years old and 9 months are in two different foster homes

I cannot even imagine doing your job...I can't even imagine wanting to. That's nothing against the people that *do* it, of course, but holding people's lives in my hands like that? No f*cking thank you!

Entertainment law might be fun...I know that the *entertainment* part is. ;)

holding their lives in my hands...I constantly beat myself up, how to know what is the bst to do. I have no doubt that all the folks that do this work love doing it...to some extent, we could not do it otherwise. I am at a crucial point in my career, 20 years into it and I am tired...I want soe fun stuff to do everyday and not beat the heck out of myself second guessing and attempting to read the future.

mainly because it wasn't until this morning I remembered that at 2:00p I have the 12 year old alleged (and most likely incompetent) attempted murderer, now THAT will keep my little brain busy!!
