Told my daughter I'd posted what she said and she demanded I post a disclaimer, lest anyone reading this thought we were perverted freaks.
Recap: I work in the area of criminal law, my daughter works in my office as a legal secretary. The last 10 days have included the death of a 19 year old client, two new cases of sexual abuse and unspeakable acts and a family torn apart that will not be repaired. We see a lot of evil bad things everyday and the gallows humor helps.
It has felt good to be able to laugh and move back toward normal this week, so far we have a new nephew, seeds sprouting, enough sap to start sugaring over the weekend, turkey eggs to incubate and the glory of spring!
