So the pain in my hips (which is mainly what hurt most after the initial stuff) has significantly resided, which I am very thankful for. I realized yesterday that I had bascially been in pain for about 4 days straight counting yesterday, and it's really nice not to have so much today. I'm too damn stubborn for my own good, I know...but the flip side of it is that if I'd gone two weeks ago when I actually thought something major happend and Laura wanted me to go, they might've recommended surgery or something if they saw one was about to rupture again... Where as this way, I was able to study for tests and go to class and basically only be incapacitated for a day or so.
Other things to be thankful for, since they stuck me about 6-7 times to draw blood, I have kick ass bruises on both arms and hands. Apparently, I'm a little stubborn about giving up blood. I would've had some even better ones if it didn't clot so well.
So thanks for the prayers.
I was a little dissapointed Stephen and I didn't really get to go to dinner and that I didn't get to help him as much as I wanted to, but we did get to spend most the day together doing absolutely nothing, which we both needed. Really it helped us both that I was incapacitated too, b/c he probably really needed to stay off his ankle, and I really needed to rest after the horendous week I had, and neither one of us would've voluntarily taken that time. So maybe despite the fact he had to help me alot, I helped him too. I hope...I swear, one of these days, I'm going to take care of that kid like he's never known...wait...well...maybe not, he's got to many women that care about him for that to be a possible goal...ok, so I'll just rival for the spot or something...
But yeah, thanks for asking after me and for all the prayers and stuff. I really appreciate it. I was put on the prayer list at St. John's this morning. I think that's a first...tbtG for that, but a big day non-the-less...lol jk.
