I FINALLY have the internet in my apartment! No more frantic BS'ing on the online discussion boards in the computer labs 10 minutes before class starts!
OK so the latest:

• learned how to take the bus. I may never drive anywhere again. (South of northgate, that is.)
  
• classes are so overwhelmingly hard. Right now I have pharmacology, pathophysiology, contemporary nursing, and philosophy. It's not an issue of new concepts it's just a crazy ammount of reading and memorization. I have no life right now. Luckily this does not require much adaptation from my prior lifestyle. *sigh*
  
• might get my stethoscope soon. meheheh.
  

Living in the city is pretty cool. I thought it would be weird being around so many people all the time but it's actually been very interesting. I enjoy the snippets of conversation I overhear on the street and in the bus. Example: the girl sitting in front of me on the bus yesterday was talking about how her dad eats peanut butter and balogna sandwiches. Priceless. That, and it's amazing to me how many people pick their noses while sitting in their cars at traffic lights!
I should be updating more often now that I don't have to leave the comforts of home to do so.
I'm wondering.. are the changing leaves making anyone else crave pumpkin pie and gingerbread?
This is getting close to my favorite time of year.
