Feeling a little discouraged about the whole moving-to-Seattle thing right now.
I went to look at apartments today and everything near the university was either overpriced and disgusting quality or beautiful but DISGUSTINGLY overpriced. Maybe I had unreasonable expectations, (750 a month for a one bedroom?) but why do those silly bastards need to charge $75 a month for off street parking!? EXCUSE ME for needing to USE MY CAR in order to commute to HOSPITALS so that I can work my ass off to LEARN HOW TO DEVOTE THE REST OF MY LIFE to HELPING SOCIETY!
Another thing.. Seattle seems to love to pile on those nonrefundable deposits and fees. I can understand why they want me to give them a $300 pet deposit incase I disappear after my pet chewed a few scratches in to the wall or dented the window blinds. Ok, so then.. what's the additional, nonrefundable $200 pet fee for!? Is that what the manager gets as compensation for having to stay awake worrying all night that I have a pet in my apartment? That makes me want to call the manager every day and just be like "This is the girl from #26. You know how I have those nasty pet rats?"
manager-"yes."
me-"I just wanted to remind you. I want to make sure I get my full $200 worth of your precious concern. you greedy little bitch."
ugh. Anyways. I'm sure something will work out but it might involve waiting for a few more years to get ratties and getting creative with my transportation. *sigh* ratties :(
Once I get it all worked out I know I'm going to loooooove living there because that area is amazing. And Jeremy will be there :)

The new first rule of fight club is don't be an idiot and miss out when Chuck Palahniuk comes to read near your town.
I've been watching Wet Hot American Summer every night before going to sleep for a while now. That movie never gets old.
One more thing..I'm sure Anwar will be better off going home but it was still sad to see it happen. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll consider myself lucky that you still think I'm a respectable person. haha.

That's enough of this for now. I'm gonna go smear some mud on my ass.
