Listening to my self

Don’t look at the clock, Deborah

It doesn’t matter that it is only 8 PM and you’re ready for bed.

The winter solstice is … what … a week away?

Hibernating is in our genetic makeup, right?

So eight, ten, twelve hours of sleep is normal. Right?

It’s raining outside and this is a good thing. Soon you’ll be out digging in the Spring infiltrated earth and be thankful for that rich moist soil.

Spring comes early here, in California, don’t forget, Deborah.

Remember those long torturous days on the WA Peninsula where the sun seemed to never shine?
You survived. Just flow with it.

Take a hot bath. Sleep when you want, swim, walk, and draw, when the mood strikes you.
Buddha says there is no fear for one whose mind is not filled with desires.

I fear not and I desire spring.
