This was the hight light of the trip, Robinson Jeffers Tor House and Hawk Tower. If you prefer stepping away from the touristy spots, check this place out next time you're in Carmel. Reservations are required, because the tours are very small consisting of only six people, the entire time was cozy, familiar and very emotional for me. Listening to his poetry read out loud while in his space was magnificent. And what a man. I'm so enamored with this guy.
The tower, with Mary our docent who has been doing this for 12 years and I believed love this man also.
Cameras were not allowed ... but, well, I figured if I was going to steal one photo, it should be the wall with all the photos. I have this one RAW so can zoom in on much of the individual ones. I only wish I could have turned those overhead lights off.
This was the only item I purchased while in Monterey, three postcards.
