Happy HAPPY Friday

Just got off the phone with the Chronics Team at AT&T. My MPLS circuit to our remote site that has been flaky-jake since turn up over three months ago was turned over to the Chronix team (I like that spelling better) and I finally got a REAL TELCO tech to trouble shoot this thing to completion. I kept telling them there is a variable they need to seriously consider ... this thing drops ONLY when it's really hot out, like over 100 degrees.

Today Mr. Chronix Team Lead told me they found a splicer box that had not only incorrect splicers for data, (wtf!!) but they were exposed inside a metal box above ground. They found the wires were frayed and burned at places and they were actually touching the metal box. So bring on the hot Modesto sunshine and what happens? Cooked wires for early dinner, anyone? Kiss your network connection good-bye.

I feel really good about this.
