Rent-a-goat
My husband and i decided we're going to rent a goat. well, more like goats. This guy (who's really nice) comes to your land and sets up a temporary electric fence that the goats know to stay away from. Then he lets the goats in, and in about two weeks, your land is cleaned out. We have quite a bit of land with really thick brush, and it's reallllly hard to clean out, seeing as how there are black widows, fire ants, ticks, and a whole slew of other not friendly things. We saw before and after pictures and it's amazing. the goats graze and eat everything from the ground up to your head (they get up on their back feet and eat as high as they can). They will take land that you can't walk in, into a manicured usable yard. our whole 2 1/2 acres isn't overgrown but there definately is a big part of it that is and it will really open up our view of the lake and the horses across the lake. I'm excited. We talked to the guy today, we're doing it probably in a few weeks. our neighbors are going to think we're nuts. The guy that does it is the guy we bought our ducks at, and we met all his goats then too. they're so pretty and nice. I can't wait
