Happy New Year Survey!
1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Got a 4.0, applied to Grad school, had some realizations about myself anddd ... flower patterns for cate :).
2. Did you keep your new years' resolution, and will you make more for next year?
Can't even remember the one I made last year... This year I vow to stay alive.
3a. Did anyone close to you get engaged/married?
Not married this year, several engagements though.
3b. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Jessica!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Grandmother. It still hasn't hit me very hard yet, but I'm sure it will in the near future.
5. What countries did you visit?
Nada
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
a degree or three, and an idea of what i'm doing after summer of this year.
7. What date(s) from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Thanksgiving, and December 16th. New Years Eve too!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a 4.0
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to finish everything I wanted to/ letting people down when i was needed the most
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was extremely sick in November
11. What was the best thing you bought?
a condenser mic :)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mothers behavior. She is an angel without a doubt. Also I give mad props to my Aunt Celine for cleaning a dead body. She is my hero <3 I never realized how strong she was.
Also, my lab partner/ design project partner josh. he is truly my guardian angel.
and my boyfriend, who has to put up with me no matter what mood i'm in.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Most of my family and friends to be honest. A lot of them let me down this year when I needed them the most, especially in the past three weeks. Some of them were very supportive though.
14. Where did most of your money go?
rent, gas, food
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
leaving new paltz for extended periods of time. that's about it lol
16. What songs will always remind you of 2009?
Lady Gaga songs!!! Also "Why I Am" by Dave Matthews and the rest of that album... as well as the True Blood theme

Older or wiser?

i think i am the same as last year

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
sleeping, having fun in new paltz, music stuff

spending time in the lab (necessary evil sadly)
20. How did you spend Christmas?
At home. It was a pretty sad Christmas, not gonna lie, but I'm thankful that I got to see most of my family <3
22. Did you fall in love in 2009?
I did in late 2006 and things haven't changed :)

24. What was your favorite TV program?
True Blood, Make it or Break it, Secret Life, Ugly Betty, Greek, Glee, my god I watch too much TV when I'm studying lol
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't HATE anyone, but I definitely have a far lower tolerance of bullshit than I've had in my entire life. I realized that I don't have to take it anymore. You don't have to be nice to everyone you meet, especially when they treat you with much less consideration and decency than they should.
26. What was the best book you read?
I'm totally crushin on the Vampire Books this year. I LOVED Vampire Academy, and Sookie Stackhouse
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
That there is more to life than your instrument. There is more to music than your instrument. Music is so much more than just... playing.
28. What did you want and get?
Several things! I was very fortunate
29. What did you want and not get?
I really wanted to be able to ring in the New Year with my Grandma.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I enjoyed New Moon. Probably not my favorite... Star Trek was I think.

Turned 22, spent the day with Dan and Amanda doing retarded things and eating good food, then went to bombers with some of my bffs :)
32. What was one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being relaxed.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
I've gone super professional. Everything I own now is potentially interview worthy/ meeting important people worthy.

Josh and Dan... music, some of my friends.

Robert Pattinson and Lady Gaga! lol
