I swear sometimes my mother-in-law comes down and talks to my husband. He will never admit to anything, but after one of our "discussions" (this one was pretty loud), he went out to grill and I came out later and he looked at me with this overwhelming peace in his eyes. He said "My mom always used to say 'At the end of the day, it's not an excuse.'" We had been "discussing" the monumental amount of stress we were under and how it has been affecting our lives and relationship. We talked (much quieter this time) and went on to have one of the most relaxing nights in months.
Thanks Judy. I always knew you would be there for us.
