Tom Yearby has walked the full military route again in the last 10 days
(I think this is about his 5th time to walk the full 28 mile route in
recent months). For the first time, he did see a large boar hog--as he
said, "the granddaddy of them all". We've known this to be a possibility, but I'm taking the time to repeat
the caution----wild hog are far more dangerous than anything else one
can encounter, at least in our part of the country.
I am imagining myself going out to use the sinks when I spot a wild hog. Umm...dinner anyone?? Next thing I know they'll be telling me there are black bears in those neck of the woods. Oh, wait. Someone already has. (But I think they were pulling my leg.) I don't even want to KNOW what other wild creatures live in those woods. aghh. What am I getting myelf into??
Yeah...I do this for FUN.
