Cold and Icy
Brrrr.... I stepped outside to get the mail just now and found myself trying very hard to keep from falling flat as I walked to the foot of our driveway. Our driveway looks like a lake that has been frozen over. The grass is crunchy and the trees make creepy sounds every time the wind blows. Today everyone went to Walker for a basketball game and probably won't be back until later tonight. Hopefully they can drive back safely. It sure is nasty out.
But the main reason for writing is to say what I got in the mail. Not only did I get the new Civil War Historian (I read on some e-lists that there is an excellent article in there about knitting by Colleen Formby!) but I also got the new Blueprint magazine. FINALLY. I was beginning to think they had forgotten about me. So basically a pointless entry to say I've got something to keep me occupied while it's raining ice outside. But I do want to get some more done sewing-wise. :)
