We Used to Vacation (don't ask why I'm using a song title for the subject.)

Thanks all for the comments on my posts below. It's so nice when people comment on my posts. Somehow it feels like I'm getting letters in the mail or something. I should post pictures I take more regularly, but then I get side-tracked or I don't have time to post pictures because I feel like I need to write something along with the pictures. And before I know it I just decide to put it off. Yeah, I do that with a lot of things. Like for instance, right now I could be researching some fabric that I need to find for a customer's dress. Or I could be packaging a dress that needs to be sent, though technically I can't really send it until Tuesday anyway. Though for real I should be working on my tax crap. I've been writing down receipts lately, which I should have done right when I got them. I have so many receipts it can get overwhelming. Then I remember I forgot to keep the receipts for the shipping and well, it all adds up. Kinda sucks that I forgot that. I keep saying next year will be better. I believe this year will be better than last year, but it's never wonderful. I doubt doing tax will EVER be wonderful or easy. I keep figuring out new ways to organize. It's pretty pathetic. Well, I'm going to at least *try* to get a lot done on that today. Perhaps I'll get it mostly, if not all, finished. Of course when I think it's finished, there will probably be one or to or five more things to do. Ah, well.

In other news, last night I was wasting away online looking at pretty shoes and pictures from various flickr sites when I came upon those Japanese books again. Okay, major drool time. I seriously could not help myself any longer. I ended up getting not one, not two, but three books. I really wanted to get like 5 or 7, but that would mean I'd be dropping over $100 on books! I told myself that I'll just get three now and when I get bored of them (which may not even happen) I'll treat myself to a few more books. It's not like I can read them all at once or do all the projects right way or anything. But they all look so lovely it was hard to choose which ones to get! I don't do crafty stuff too often, so my favorite books are the ones with clothing and bags. I do think the crafty projects are cute and fun, but things like stuffed animals really don't interest me as much. They're cute, I just don't have any time to make stuff like that and there wouldn't be a place for them in this house. SO...I hope it doesn't take too long to get them! I want to drool some more.

I don't have a ton going on today, unless you count the tax crap. I could sew something, but I don't know what to start on first. I have a lot of projects but honestly, I don't feel like sewing. It's still sort of my break so I feel like taking it easy and doing other things. Maybe I'll play around with my stamps. Btw, I got those stamps I ordered for my business cards as well as the tags. I just need to get some ink. That means I need to make a trip to the stamp store, if it's still there anyway. I don't know if I'll do that today. Hm...Tonight I may go out with some friends. So basically I'm just wasting my time right now because I REALLY don't want to work on tax. ewww!!
