It gets on my nerves when people say this --> "I am definitely disappointed in people who are just closeminded and think (fill in blank) is wrong". Just having a different opinion on an issue than another person does not make either person close-minded. Have your opinion and voice it, but please be educated on the subject, and be open to other people and their opinions. In actuality, if you say something to this effect, you are being close-minded yourself - not accepting that your almighty ideas might actually be challenged by someone. Being open-minded includes looking at all aspects of the situation/idea before coming to an educated conclusion based on those areas, and continuing to be receptive of all ideas.
My dad told me a joke today:
-What is the first thing a magician does when he gets home?
Turns into his driveway
ahh... my father, the jokester. :)
I went to Plato's Closet with Brittany to try to sell some old clothes, but they said they would only take $20 worth... most of them were too "mature" for their customers, even though they were the right brands. What does that mean, exactly? I guess I don't dress so provocatively most of the time, but my clothes aren't old ladyish... well I don't think so. I think I'm gonna have a clothes trading partay because I have a lot that I just don't wear that someone else would.
I cleaned out my closet today. David G, Curtis, and Drew Di Stef came over and chilled while I was working on it. David and I went over to get Kristen's Easter gifts (all chocolate, of course!) and then I told her I was coming by to give her towel back, but really I was coming by with the Emo Easter Bunny. She was very surprised. :) Great times. Dead squirrels. Holler back, youngin'.
