Sparklingly happy news to shout off rooftops...

Last night after work Jack met me downtown and after dining at the bayou cafe went to see "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Palace Theatre. He had insisted. In my usual semi-scroogeness i'd initially poo-pooed the concept; but, that's only since it's on every year, honestly probably hadn't seen the entire thing from beginning to end before. It was good, old movie on big screen. He barely drove there, parking just beyond the capitol. He got a new tripod and insisted we stop to take a picture by the tree at the capitol. Of course I was like, ya gotta be kidding.. but stood in front of the tree and he had set up his tripod to take a pic of us then said he was going to take another one then said he had to tie his shoelace and then took out a ring and the ass i am walked away in disbelief initially then turned back said yes of course and we embraced... the punchline was that his "second picture" the camera was in movie mode. It's dark but too funny how see me walk away in disbelief. I'm still in a very happy state of shock. Now I's gotta hurry to work to share my happy there.
