More updates.
Cool four day weekend came to a wild close last night. Everybody got together after bible study and we sat and watched TV 'till we all fell asleep. woop. woop. such wild times... these are the moments that will last forever. ... yeah.
Well, I found out that my ACL, meniscus (?) and three other tendons in my knee are ripped, so they're gonna sugery-fy me. and keep me in the army another 6-18 months. yay. i'm so happy! I wanna die! IT"S GREAT! hehehe. well, it's ok, 'cause I pretty much am my own boss now, and nobody messes with me, seeing as how they are under the impression I'm insane. So I get paid to do whatever I want. It's kinda nice.
COOL CAR UPDATE! I finally found out why my ciutry was all messed up in my car! It's taken me a month, but I finally figured it out. The '74 model Chevys all have this experimental anti-theft system in it, which doesn't allow you to start the car unless you go through a certain procedure. Well, no one remembers the procedure, 'cause most people have taken them out due to the pain in the rear it is. Mine still had the device installed, and since it's connected to all the car's systems, it was messing up the circuitry (as well as not letting the car start unless the hood's open). So I took it out and now it starts like a dream. ... Unless it's cold outside. ... Then it starts like a bad dream. I did have to rewire most of the stuff in the car, which took all friday and a little bit of saturday, and I don't have it all quite right yet, so I'm gonna work on it more when I get the chance. It's nothing serious, it's still a safe car, it's just that some of the indicators on the dash don't work anymore. I'll fix it, though. Tax is teaching me well.
I gotta do taxes today. yay. not looking forward to it. at all. oh well.
Wow. I'm being infected with the gearhead virus. I saw an old beat up Dodge Charger, late '60's-early '70's model, and all I was thinking was "Ooh, project car." and about all the things I could do to make it go fast. Eh, it's fun, i'll stop resisting the call of the cars.
Take it easy everybody.
