If this was reading week, I guess we had it

So reading week has come and gone, and it's back to school on monday... damn. I had big plans of studying and getting ahead in classes, but I haven't even opened a single book yet.

Tania and I had a wonderful trip to toronto last weekend. Sleeping in a bed with someone else was a neat experience, except for being kneeded in the spine and shoved out of the bed by a sleeping zombie. We also were introduced to a drunk old couple in the swimming pool who apparently had taken a fancy to Tania, and decided the best way to show this would be for the woman to show us her small, saggy boobs. After that, swim time was over.

We also got to ride the subway and shop on Queen and Yonge Street. We didn't buy a lot of things, but we got to do a lot of walking together, plus a lot of staring at people together. Thjngs I've learned from this trip - If you think you're getting the silent treatment, make sure you look at the person, because there's a chance they may have randomly fallen asleep for 45 minutes... sometimes doing nothing with someone you love is the most enjoyable... don't eat in arabic restaurants that are on side streets, unless you want to see a possible shooting or jihad, or what ever the hell it is... finally, learn your subway maps inside and out... so you don't get stuck walking 400 miles. oops.

Last night, I went and saw yellowwood for the second time in 2 weeks... Those bastards are easily the best band in Windsor and if you haven't seen them yet, do yourself a favour and pay the 4$ cover charge to see them wherever they play next, because eventually you're going to have to pay $35 US to see them at state theater.

This week was quite a musical highlight... I got the new armor for sleep cd which is amazing... it's a story about someone dying and coming back as a ghost and seeing what life was like without him there. I also got the new mars volta cd which is just insane. I can't wait till they come in concert, that's going to be one of those life changing concert experiences.

The rest of the week will be spent painting my room a dark shade of blue, which i'm quite excited about... no more wolf print on the border!
