My family has been touched by the goodness of The American Cancer Society.
After asking my mom for a donation she gave me some background on her mother who died of liver cancer. My mother was responsible for caring for my grandmother while she was ill. The American Cancer Society provided my mom a nurse, free of charge, to help with my grandmothers special needs.
Its very important for me to know that the money we raise REALLY does go to a good cause. I would not ask everyone I know for money if it wasnt something I truly believed in.
