Claire arrived and we visited, then settled down to watch "A Touch of Frost" in the den, and at the agreed-upon time, Larry and I went to the kitchen to make the hamburgers and french fries for dinner. BUT....there were nowhere near enough frozen french fires--Larry, who does the shopping since he retired, thought he had a full bag. Then...the grill was out of gas! So we ordered food from Domino's. What a disorganized crew we are!!
I have a dark load in the dryer and the last wash load in the washer, so I feel productive. Dishes are done, kitchen and house are closed for the night. WHERE is Desdemona Pussycat?!? She must be downstairs, playing with her tunnel. She loves those two long tunnels, joined by a square house with a round door on three sides. She runs through there at a high rate of speed, dragging Lambkin with her! One tunnel is turquoise, the house is turquoise and the other connecting tunnel is hot pink.
Claire will be here tomorrow morning and we three plus Desdemona will watch the Red RIver Shootout--the UT-OU game. Matt and Suzanne are there in Big D, at the Cotton Bowl, for the game, and so are Jeff Jones, Brubaker, Brent McGill, and Austin Arnold, all TXDX fraternity brothers of Matt's. Matt called early this evening and all is going well.
