The newest poppets

Apr 04, 2012 15:14

I've made several new poppets recently and haven't yet posted their pictures.  So here they are, all Napoleonic wars era.

First, Christian, Polly, and Kerjean.

Polly is a sweet little camp follower with simple clothes and hair.

Next is Christian, a redcoat soldier.  Isn't he handsome?

And Kerjean is his dashing French counterpart.

And finally Sharpe, a rifles officer.

Sharpe was made a bit later than the others, so he missed out on some of their hi-jinx, but he got to have adventures of his own later.

Christian was ill and needed an ambulance.

Kerjean helped him up.

Then he closed the doors and hitched the ladder.

Christian was confused when he woke up and wanted to get out.

Meanwhile, their performance had an audience.

With some audience participation.

The audience was glad to meet the cast afterwards.

When it came time for the poppets to leave for their new homes, Jack and Stephen wished them luck.

As did the ladies.

Since they would be going to separate homes, someone suggested to Polly that she might give Christian a little kiss farewell.

Goodbye, poppets!  May we meet again soon!
