Various miniatures

Here are some miniatures that I didn't get around to posting a while ago, plus some new acquisitions!

I'm helping a friend with her first dollhouse, a little Kentish country cottage, so I made her a couple of itmes.  A dresser (filled with all my various random dishes for the photo shoot):

And some rope beds - a regular one and a trundle bed.

I also figured out how to make dimpled glass windows with acrylic!!!

My first 1:24 items!  I made some tiny sewing machines in wooden cases.

They're for sale on my Etsy.  I've also made and sold a few more nautical things.  More lanterns (and as always, books, my best selling items)...

And something new.  I'm enchanted by traditional glass fishing floats, so I've made them in miniature.  Here are some individuals.

And here is a full fishing net.

I love aqua sea-colored glass!

And speaking of fishing, here are some delightful items made for me by the talented and delightfully offbeat Kiva Atkinson!  Mushrooms, fruit, and flopping fish!  I just adore all her sea creatures.

It's fish dissection time in the dispensary!  Stephen and I have been looking forward to this day for a long, long time.  And only Kiva's fish would do.  Here the poor flopping fish gazes dolefully to his companion on the desk.

And fruit waits to be delivered to scurvy-suffering patients in the sickbay.  I told Kiva about Stephen's fondness for mushrooms too.  He's just dumped them in a drawer for want of a better place at the moment.  Good thing Mrs. Williams isn't here to discover them!
