They look wonderful. Isobel reminds me a bit of Maggie. :D

Thanks! Yes, she is rather like Maggie with her apron on.

Wonderful as ever!*g* Are you going to send them on to Mr. Thomas, or have you shown him the photos at least?

I love the look on the cat's face at the end, as if wondering why Jerrold over-reacted and fainted...

I've sent him a link to the pictures, yes! He asked me to show him pics when they were finished. But I haven't heard back from him yet. If he wants to give me an address, I'll send them to him! And if not, I'll just keep them. Lately I feel like Lt. Jerrold is the only person who understands me. :P

edit: And I love the look on Nemo's face there too, like he's saying "What just happened? I didn't do it!"

Aw, so cute! I love his uniform! :D

Hey, did you ever think about making a Bolitho poppet? I would love to see how you would render him.

Thank you!

I didn't think of making Bolitho. I really know next to nothing about Bolitho, actually...

They're lovely! :)

Forgive the questions, but I'm curious--how long does it usually take you to make one of these? Is it longer to do women or men? (I wasn't around to ask these questions when you first made them, so I sort of am making up for it now.... *unsure*)

Thank you!

Hmm, it takes several days - maybe 20 hours? - and I think usually the men do take longer because there's more painting involved. At least, Jerrold took longer than Isobel, but she also had pretty simple hair. His piping and his queue were new techniques and therefore more time-consuming. But Lizzy Bennet was more time consuming than Mr. Darcy, so maybe the men and women average about the same.
