Oh, at work I got to look at a cool book from 1814, American, that was lists of all sorts of military things, like which people were enlisted when and for what jobs, which people were deserters and where and why, which people were deceased, etc. etc. Mostly lists, from what I saw. Only, someone had decided to use the book as a scrapbook and pasted newspaper clippings (about really boring stuff) on all the pages, so I wasn't able to read much of it. It will be our job to remove the clippings so the book can be readable again. Or, somebody's job anyway. It would be fun if it were mine, but I'm really too busy doing more demanding stuff, so I hope someone else will take care of it.
