I think this one could be subtitled, "Laura's busy day." There's also lots of Cottle and Adama, and assorted others.
Not so dial-up friendly.
She settled the teachers' strike
Had a nooner with the President
Realized the President was, in fact, the moron Adama says he was
Plots her own power play behind the President's back
Spots Baltar cavorting with a Cylon (and we know she knew who Baltar was, now she knows the blonde was a Cylon)
Looks generally gorgeous
And still found time to get her hair colored before going the doctor for her diagnosis of terminal breast cancer
I grabbed lots of Cottle shots this time too. That man has the most expressive face, and he's usually expressing disapproval of the stupid and bizarre things other people are doing.
Baltar's humiliation by Adama was just so sweet
And I loved the tie sequence
Especially this one with the guy in the background staring at the fruitloop choking himself!
Then we have the pacifists' plot
Which Gina is firmly in the middle of. Doesn't she think the other Cylons might be pissed off at her for helping the humans destroy the resurrection ship so she could die? I'm not sure what she's really up to.
Nor do I have a clue as to what Baltar is up to. But (many years ago before I was an old married lady) I dated a chemist who used to doodle structures like this whenever he was bored, or cross, or just...whenever.
But somehow the sight of his own blood inspires him
To come up with this brilliant idea (WTF?)
I loved Helo in the episode. So dignified and so determined to save his child.
I always love Adama, so here's some pics of him looking sad because Roslin's dying
Here's his "For a frakking genius, Baltar sure is stupid," look
Adama tries to strangle the pacifist
And Tigh is totally turned-on by the sight =8-O
Amniocentesis shots pics
And it always pisses me off when they say, "It's going to hurt a little." No, it's going to hurt a *lot*. I've had this done, and it's quite exquisitely painful. Poor Sharon. Although I do not trust her, I thought their treatment of her in this episode was abominable.
Laura remembers her vision of Baltar and Six (and looks a little like the girl in "The Exorcist")
The newly cured President uses her political wiles on the pacifist
Six and Baltar talk everything over
And Baltar's pissed because Laura's letter was a blunt assessment of his character.
So he decides to hand Gina and the pacifists the means of destroying the fleet. OMG--it's an ORB of the prophets*
Laura looks on...wistfully...as Sharon rubs her pregnant belly. Hmmmm. Is Laura different now? Was *that* Baltar's evil plan all along?
*just a little joke for any old DS9 fans out there ;-)
And that's all for this week :-)
And the usual: feel free to grab any you like, just don't hotlink please.
