this is positively gorgeous writing, both stylistically and conceptually. there is a slow, even unveiling of the home sam & dean have come to build for themselves after their hunting days; there is the powerful sense of how deeply they relish and take pride in it. here we are given all the fruits of a life we hope the winchesters will one day be able to retire to, and we could not be happier. lovely, lovely stuff.
