i have two weeks. i think i can do it. i wrote 3k this afternoon. 2k was complete fodder. that still counts, kids.
trouble is: i am not really engaged with the story i'm telling, and i think it's because i decided to brush over a lot of things in pursuit of simply getting to the end. i don't normally work like that and it's messing with my program; i don't know exactly where my characters are, how they should proceed, where they should go.

my completely irrational goal is to shove through to the end tonight. i will need the following:
- FULL POT OF COFFEE
- INDIVIDUAL CAGES FOR ALL FOUR CATS
- FRIENDS TO STOP CALLING ME AND TRYING TO DRAG ME OUT INTO REAL LIFE
- A PERSONAL CHEERLEADING SQUAD IN MY LIVING ROOM WITH COWBELLS
