Gavin Creel: Quiet (2010)
HI. i have real-life updates wot are MADE OF AWESOME but they are on pause. something important first:
i got this EP two months ago, and three of the songs (love fell down, small words, and hot ohio) are now in my top 25 most played on itunes. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE TO LISTEN TO SOMETHING FOR THAT TO HAPPEN.
i know of gavin creel because he's a [fantastic] broadway performer, and i love this EP because he's got this huge, incredibly powerful voice and here it is soft and trailing and unbelievably well-controlled.
after having heard him in thoroughly modern millie and then having seen him in hair, i added him to my twitter feed and SLOWLY BUT SURELY FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM. he is a gorgeous soul and an inspiration, someone whose thoughts and motivations and happiness really get to me. he does a lot of great work for charity, which inspires me like no other, and he is a goob, and funny, and focused on positivity, and will share the really great parts of his day before anything else. he is totally a force of energy, and i can get behind that.

and okay this video is almost seven minutes long BUT THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HIM AS A PERSON. so deal with it. but preferably watch it.
